According to Statistics Canada, EV sales in Canada are on the rise. In the first three quarters of 2024 alone, more zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) were sold than in all of 2023—a near 40% increase compared to the same period last year (52,685 ZEVs were sold in Q4 of 2023). In a report by Electric Autonomy, there was a 32.7% increase in public EV chargers installed across Canada in 2024 compared to the previous year.
